Who says advocating for the cancer community has to be boring?
The Community Oncology Alliance (COA) recorded an impromptu dance video "The Dancing Doctors" on a rooftoop in Washington, DC to call attention to Medicare cuts affecting cancer care.
Front and center: Ted Okon, the Executive Director. Now THAT is committment to a cause!

Feature article:
Be Resourceful
and Lower Your Stress
When you are stressed because of cancer or any other serious illness, the little aggravations in life suddenly become major annoyances. Something happened to me recently that will serve as a case in point. Frankly, I didn't think anything of it but when I told someone what happened they laughed and said, "I can't believe you DID that!" If someone tells you that, you've probably done something resourceful! I do a lot of traveling when speaking around the country, which obviously involves a lot of hotel rooms. It really bugs me when the clock on the night stand is either set to the wrong time or, even worse, blinking because no one bothered to set it in the first place. "I'm gonna fix this," I muttered and started to try to figure out how to set the time. On some clocks it's easy, but this wasn't one of those clocks. Thank about it: what would you do to set the clock? (Remember, doing nothing and living with the problem is not an option.) After just about throwing the clock out the window from frustration, I noticed a web address on the bottom of the clock. I got out my laptop and looked them up, got a phone number, and called them. When I told her my predicament she laughed and said she would email the instructions right away. She did, and I set the clock to the correct time. Bada bing, bada boom; problem solved. The point is not how clever I am, the point is that if you really think about a problem you may be surprised at what you can do to resolve or at least lessen that problem. And when you do, and you tell someone about what you did, you too can hear them say, "I can't believe you DID that!"
